I’m Nuno Lopes, an international award-winning photographer based in Portugal.
For a decade, photography has taken me around the world, documenting weddings, people and meaningful moments across different cultures and places. Through all these experiences, I discovered that the most powerful images are never just about places — they are about people and the emotions they carry.
My photography is guided by one simple idea: capturing moments that feel real, natural and timeless. You don’t need to know how to pose. My role is simply to guide you gently, allowing the experience to unfold in a relaxed and authentic way. The result is a collection of images that reflect who you truly are, rather than something staged or artificial.

Where can the photoshoot take place in Madeira?
Photoshoots can take place in several iconic locations across the island depending on the experience and weather conditions. Popular spots include coastal cliffs, volcanic beaches, scenic viewpoints and the magical landscapes of Madeira’s mountains and forests.
What happens if it rains?
Madeira’s weather can change quickly. If conditions are not ideal, we can adjust the location or reschedule the session. Because this is a personalised experience, I try to keep my schedule flexible whenever possible to ensure the best conditions for your photos.
Do we need to know how to pose?
Not at all. My approach is relaxed and natural. I gently guide you throughout the session so you can simply enjoy the experience while authentic moments unfold naturally.
What should we wear for the photoshoot?
Neutral and elegant tones work beautifully with Madeira’s landscapes. Once the session is confirmed, I’m happy to give you simple suggestions to help you choose outfits that work well with the location and light.
Can the photoshoot take place in other parts of the island?
Yes. The photoshoot can be organised anywhere in Madeira depending on the experience and your preferences. Some locations may require additional travel time, which can be discussed when planning the session.
When will we receive the photos?
Your edited images will be delivered through a private online gallery, usually within a few days after the photoshoot.
